Installation Precautions and Product Description:

Before the first use, it is essential to prime the pump. If the pump is unable to lift water up to 5 ft, it indicates the presence of air inside the pump. To remove the air, simply disconnect the tubing, fully submerge the pump in water, and start pumping once to discharge the air. Then, reconnect the tubing, and the pump will function perfectly.

Regarding the water hose, it is important to keep it straight up. The small pump does not have very high power, so if the water hose is too long and coiled, it will prevent the water pump from lifting the water normally. However, slight bending is acceptable.

The purpose of priming the pump is to remove the air inside, as the pump will not work properly if air is present. The pumping capacity is 55 GPH at a 0.3 ft height. Please note that the higher the pumping height, the lower the water flow. However, this capacity can still meet the daily condensation and drainage needs.

You can directly place the pump into the water tank of the dehumidifier to pump the water. The pump has a sponge filter, so you do not need to clean it regularly.
